The university where you are enrolled has services that are available to you as a student.
The Office of Health Professional Student Affairs (OHPSA) at the University of Toronto provides assistance for PA learners.
Academic challenges are common and you are not alone. These challenges present an opportunity to learn, grow, and access to additional assistance. Your preceptors, colleagues, clinical learning liaisons, university placement coordinators and faculty are all on your side and want you to succeed.
It is important to be open and honest about the challenges you are experiencing, as the first step is asking for help. It is better to ask for help early, then to let a difficulty persist so that support can be provided to your right away.
To get support, Contact Britton Sprules, your Clinical Course Director, at bsprules@nosm.ca.
