NOSM University firmly stands against any form of sexual misconduct, harassment or assault. We are unwavering in our dedication to fostering a community that is safe, inclusive and respectful for all. As members of the NOSM U Community, we all share in the responsibility of creating a campus that reflects our value of social accountability, inclusivity and respect. Sexual violence has a profound impact on everyone involved. By raising awareness and actively preventing such incidents, we not only protect the well-being of our learners but we are also upholding the values that define NOSM University.

MANDATORY SEXUAL VIOLENCE TRAINING 'IT TAKES ALL OF US'

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe environment, it is important that all learners complete training in understanding and preventing sexual violence.

It Takes All of Us is an online sexual violence awareness and prevention training module addressing topics such as sexual violence, consent, bystander intervention, and supporting survivors. The training program acknowledges the sensitivity of its content and allows individuals to pause, take a break and skip modules if needed. The completion of the training module is mandatory for all learners aligning with NOSM University's Sexual Violence Prevention Policy.

An email was sent to all learners on how to register for the training module. If you did not receive the email, please contact learnersupportservices@nosm.ca. You must complete the training by November 29, 2024. If you are unable to meet the deadline, please contact svpsinfo@nosm.ca at least a week in advance.
